Anil is a repeat entrepreneur, having successfully set up an independent media sales outfit named Pearl Media in Jan 2004. Pearl Media attained the No.1 position in the independent media sales company sector in a record time of 18 months, clocking a turnover of INR 750 million. A veteran of the media industry, Anil has over a decade of experience in various positions in media.

His last assignment was with UTV, an integrated media company, as Chief Operating Officer of its Sales & Syndication Business.

Anil possesses a keen eye for business potential and is excellent at increasing the values and yield per unit. Besides a whole host of media owners, he has excellent relations with advertisers and advertising agencies alike.

 
Sanjay Dhar
Chief Operating Officer

Sanjay Dhar has over 14 years of experience in media sales in various organizations, starting out at Nimbus as an ad sales executive in 1993, then moving on to UTV, where he quickly rose to head the ad sales division and subsequently the events and promotions division. This was followed by a 1 year stint with B4U Music which was launched in India in 1999. In this assignment, his role involved marketing communications and ad sales, and providing strategic inputs to the programming team.

In, 2000 he moved to Turner International (a Time Warner company), where he was Head of Sales for Western India and rose to become Executive Director – Ad Sales for India by the end of 2002. During his stint with Turner, he was involved in overseeing sales for such brands as Cartoon Network, HBO, CNN, Zee Movies and Zee English. He was also a key member of the team that created the blueprint for the new Turner kids’ channel Pogo, which quickly became the No.2 kids’ channel in the country after Cartoon Network which was and is the No.1 kids’ channel.

During his career, he has had the opportunity to deal with a wide variety of media from TV to Internet to outdoor activation. In his role of strategic advisor to other departments like marketing communications, content development, and business Development, he has acquired significant expertise in every aspect of running the day to day operations of a media company (like hiring and training of key personnel, identifying and setting goals, preparing and achieving business plan targets, etc..) while providing a strategic direction to the growth and expansion plans of the organization.

 
Aniruddha Mukherjee
Chief Finance Officer

Aniruddha has more than 12 years of experience in various fields of financial management. He started his career with AFPRO as an Accounts Executive in 1994, then moved on to ERM India (a group company of Environmental Resource Management Worldwide - the largest environmental consulting company in the world), in 1996, and quickly rose to the position of Finance Director with ERM India.

While with ERM India, he was associated as a Financial Expert with the ERM Group for the development of financial software and the introduction of the transfer pricing policy in the Asia Pacific Region. He played a significant role in the implementation and stabilisation of ERM’s Global Management System (F&A) in India’s operations. He was also the Asia Pacific Cash Controller, wherein responsibilities included cash management of the entire Asia Pacific region for the ERM Group.

Aniruddha has worked as a Financial Expert (on behalf of ERM India) on a number of projects in India as well as abroad. He has been a core team member on many institutional strengthening projects that ERM has executed. He has also been the Financial Analyst for a KfW-funded SIDBI project covering the areas of developing a financial feasibility format for evaluating credit worthiness for the SIDBI credit line to SMEC, and to advise SIDBI on advancing credit to SMEC.

During his career, he has had the opportunity to attend a number of international training programmes covering vast areas of Finance, HRD and Cash Management.

 
Abhijit Gupte
Vice President & Business Head

Abhijit is a media professional with over 9 years experience in media sales spanning print, TV and radio, content acquisition and marketing of live shows and events.

After completing his Masters in Business Management from Indore University, he started his career with Bennett Coleman and Company Ltd. in 1996, handling space selling for various group publications like The Times of India and The Economic Times.

From there, he moved to UTV (United Television), a leading integrated media company. During his tenure at UTV, he has handled air time sales for various genres of programmes on the National Broadcaster and Regional C&S channels. His experience includes the entire spectrum of TV genres from daily soaps to movies, from kids’ content to news programmes, from awards ceremonies to live telecasts of international cricket tournaments.

Along with Anil Mishra, he was part of the core team involved in setting up Pearl Media in 2004. Here the key responsibilities included setting up systems for the airtime sales business, spearheading the airtime sales, recruiting and training sales personnel, formalizing and implementing sales plans, etc. As Business Head for the airtime sales business, was responsible for achieving an all-India revenue target of Rs.70 crores by the second year itself.

With his extensive background in all aspects of creating and running a sales organization, Abhijit is ideally suited to heading the media sales part of the business.

 
Tarun Singh

Tarun Singh is a media professional with more than 10 years of work experience in airtime sales and program acquisition. A Computer Science graduate and an MBA, he started his career as an airtime seller with Ventures Direct Television (VDTV), a production house that was into the production and marketing of business magazines on television. After a brief stint there he moved to United Television (UTV).

At UTV he handled Operations and Sales at their Delhi office. While with UTV, he designed and implemented new systems which resulted in the improvement of the branch’s overall performance. He led a team of executives and helped in establishing a better relationship with clients and agencies by providing effective and innovative sales and servicing solutions. He also played a major role in improving the relationship between UTV and Doordarshan. He was also involved in many big projects including ad sales for various programs and live/non-live events like international cricket on different channels. After successfully heading the Delhi branch of UTV, he moved on to join the start-up company Pearl Media, as Head of North.

In no time, he successfully managed to establish a strong and lasting relationship at Pearl Media with both clients and agencies. Further, he created a team of efficient executives and helped reach new scales in sales and operations.

He was also responsible for developing the Internet Sales Model at Pearl Media. Along with Kunal Dhingra, another integral member of the team, he developed the systems and processes for starting the Internet Network Sales Business. Tarun is a keen techie with an avid interest in the Internet domain, which has led to a very deep understanding of the current business models in the Internet space. The model is ready and key human resources in planning, buying and creative fields in this segment have already been tied up.

 
Arun Hariharan
General Manager & Branch Head
(North)

Arun has had an illustrious Ad Sales career spanning 10 years. His last assignment was with MTV Networks as Account Director (Sales) – Key Clients for the channels MTV and Nick. In this position he was handling major accounts from North India for MTV Networks viz. Pepsi, Samsung, Hero Honda, Bacardi, etc.

Prior to MTV, Arun was with Sony Entertainment TV as Manager – Sales (North) for AXN and Animax, with Hungama TV as Head of Sales – North & East, with Asianet as Territory Manager (North) and with UTV Software Communications as Sales Executive. He started his career as a Sales Executive selling ad space for Eenadu and Newstime newspapers and airtime for Eenadu TV.

Arun’s role in Integrid Media will be to drive revenue to all the businesses for the company from the North and East regions.

 
Tyronne Devdros

Tyronne Devdros is an MBA in Marketing with over 15 years of work experience in Sales and Marketing Communication. Tyronne began his career with the Indian Express Group as a key member of the space marketing division in Mumbai, promoting ad-sales for the group’s publications which included news dailies, financial dailies and magazines in English as well as regional languages.

Having enjoyed a successful stint in print media with the Indian Express, Tyronne forayed into television ad-sales and worked with companies such as Buena Vista Television India, the Walt Disney Company’s Television Division and Plus Channel India Ltd, a Television software production and marketing company promoted by Blowplast CMD, Dilip Piramal and Amit Khanna. He then joined Sahara India Television Network as National Sales Head, and was an integral part of the management team that launched Sahara TV, the general entertainment satellite television channel of the Sahara Group.

Post Sahara TV, Tyronne joined Leo Activation, the globally renowned below-the-line division of Leo Burnett as Project Director and worked on various consumer and trade activation projects for several brands, including IndianOil, Bajaj Fans and Johnnie Walker, to name a few. Further to a successful stint in activation, Tyronne joined Portland India, the OOH arm of J. Walter Thompson, as the Mumbai Branch Head and Western Region Head, spearheading operations. Tyronne’s last assignment has been with Reliance Communications, Mumbai as the Head of Brand & Communication. He has been part of and instrumental in the re-launch of the new Reliance brand as part of the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group identity. He has lead various initiatives relating brand communication, design, events, promotions and retail merchandising.

Tyronne is currently spearheading the nation-wide sales initiative at IMPL.
